“Taste and See”

Good afternoon, family and friends. May the peace of God be upon you today! You are blessed to be a blessing to others. Enjoy your day today. Just to be able to see today is a blessing in itself. Happy Derby!!!

Sometimes we get in God’s way. Many times God wants us to be still and let him work but we want to jump in and help God. Well, God can do awesome things while we wait on him. He can mold us and shape us into the person He wants us to be during this period. That’s why the process is so much more important than your progress. People will say that you are wasting your time, or you can’t just sit there and wait. But prayer and fasting are what Jesus did and God was able to move His Son according to His promise. Sitting back and letting God handle it is the solution to your situation. Yeah, we want to believe that we should jump out and let God bless our progress, but God wants to mold your process into a strong testimony for Him.

We have gotten so caught up in promoting ourselves and creating our own doors that God hardly gets the glory for our lives. Many are seeking the applauds of the world, and the world’s awards to feel important and prestigious. Why? It amounts to nothing. As the song goes nothing from nothing leaves nothing. God gets no glory from this stuff, only man. GOD DOES NOT FOLLOW HE LEADS. What are you going to say when you have reached your goal? I did this or I did that, and God gets no glory or, are you going to say that God did this and God did that and take no glory for it? Which testimony do you think God wants? If you take the credit for what God does then you shut out everyone else’s hope of reaching their goals. But if God gets the credit, then that brings hope to everyone that hears your testimony.  People are only concerned about your progress, but God is more concerned about your process.

“Ephesians 4:17-18, says So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.”

Live life, give people hope, share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma.

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. ©krw 5.7.16
